International & Transfer Apartments Near FSU
We offer furnished apartments! In addition to designer furnishings, each apartment comes equipped with modern features, such as quartz countertops, hardwood-style flooring, stainless steel appliances, private bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, an in-unit washer and dryer, and so much more!
We recommend bringing items such as your personal belongings, clothes, bedding, toiletries, pots/pans/dishes/silverware, and any decorations! The major furniture/appliances will be in your apartment at move-in to make it super simple! Also, bring a form of Photo ID (License, Passport, etc.) so that you can check in and receive your keys on move-in day!
Because we lease on a first come-first-serve basis, and availability is extremely limited, we can offer a Non-Enrollment Addendum. This means that you can sign your lease NOW and secure your spot at our current rates, and if you don’t get into FSU, all you need to do is send us proof that you weren’t accepted, and you can get out of your lease!
We offer several options to apply and sign up to live at The Mark Tallahassee! Students can apply with a guarantor as long as they are at least 25 years old, have a U.S. Social Security Number, and pass a credit and income check. Students applying with a guarantor are required to pay a Security Deposit. If you do not have a qualifying guarantor, there are 3 other ways to qualify!
- Self-Qualify: If you have a U.S. Social Security Number, make 3x your monthly base rent, and can pass a credit check, you may opt to Self-Qualify. All Self-Qualifying Applicants must provide proof of their income via 3 consecutive pay stubs and are required to pay a Security Deposit equal to 2 installments of the base rent.
- Guarantor Waiver Program (GWP): If you are a full-time student and do not have a qualifying guarantor, you may opt to use our GWP. You will need to send proof of Full-Time Enrollment and sign a Guarantor Waiver Program Addendum. GWP Applicants are required to pay an additional monthly fee and pay a Security Deposit.
- International (I20): If you are an International Student who does not have a qualifying guarantor, you may apply with your I20. International Applicants are required to pay a Security Deposit equal to 2 installments of base rent and send proof of their I20.
Note that all Security Deposits are refundable, pending your move-out inspection and any damages to your apartment.
While there is no set deadline, our availability and rates are first come-first served. The only way to secure a spot at The Mark Tallahassee is by completing the Application & Lease in full. We recommend signing as soon as possible and are happy to help guide you through this process & answer any questions you may have.
The Mark Tallahassee is located at 675 W Lafayette Street, Tallahassee, Florida — right next to Florida State University! From our premier location in the heart of Tallahassee, residents have easy access to campus as well as many of the city’s finest restaurants, shops, and entertainment destinations. Everything a student needs is within reach of our apartments by FSU!
When you apply, there sis an option to list your preferred roommates. Once you are approved for an apartment, residents will register for RoomSync, our roommate matching program, to confirm they are living with their preferred roommates.
We lease individually, by the bed, so you can sign your individual housing contract and lock in your spot as soon as you’re ready, regardless of your roommates! We cannot however, hold spots for preferred roommates or anyone since we lease first come-first serve. To ensure you and any friends can live together, we recommend signing your leases at the same time.
We offer fully virtual leasing for your convenience, so you are not required to come in person! To get started, you can hit the “Apply Now” button on our website, and from there you can fill out all the steps of our application, submit, and sign all your documents. There may be additional steps required prior to screening and lease approval, so contact our office with any questions to ensure your account gets screened and approved ASAP.
